VENUES AND SERVICES

Parks Canada heritage buildings - the Community Hall and Terrace Gardens are both excellent venues for groups ranging from 10 to 200 and can be booked through the Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce. Locally sourced catering available from Hawood Inn.

WASKESIU COMMUNITY HALL

Weddings, Reunions, Conferences
The Community Hall, Waskesiu's most beautiful venue is situated near the main beach of the Waskesiu townsite. Rich, rustic architecture and open-air surroundings allow renters and visitors an effortlessly warm ambiance. The oak hardwood floors and classic chinked log walls require no frills to create an attractive space.

TERRACE GARDENS HALL
Meetings, Dances, Small Weddings
Recently restored to its 1930's charm that includes new hardwood floors and stage. The clean interior features new birch hardwood flooring and a prominent wooden stage. The stage area is a sophisticated canvas for a wedding ceremony, speaker, or musicians.

2500 sq. ft.
Hall capacity is 300 for theatre-style, 150 for banquet and 130 for banquet & dance.

Hall is available for booking annually from the May Long Weekend to September 30th.
The Terrace Gardens Hall has good availability for 2024 and 2025 - please call for dates. 306-663-5410.

WASKESIU RECREATION HALL
Small Events - Weddings, Family Reunions, Receptions

Maximum capacity is 70 for receptions.

Hall is available for booking annually from May 1st to the Thanksgiving weekend.
The Waskesiu Recreation Hall is available for 2024 and 2025- please call for dates. 306-663-5410.

Waskesiu is a great destination for every kind of event. Weddings, conferences and reunions are held here all year round.

The Waskesiu Chamber of Commerce manages the rental of the iconic Waskesiu Community Hall, The Terrace Gardens (Assembly Hall) and Recreation Hall. They also actively promote the Waskesiu area and advertise on behalf of the local business community.

SPRING AND FALL HOURS: The Chamber office is open Wednesday to Sunday 9 am to 5 pm

SUMMER SEASON: Tuesday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. and Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm. Closed Saturdays and Mondays.

Dreaming of a Waskesiu Destination Wedding?

Now that you have chosen to be married in a beautiful national park, there are some specific rules to follow when planning your wedding. Beautiful historic halls are available to rent with seating from 70 to 160 people.

Professional catering for your dinner is available from The Hawood Inn.

Planning a midnight lunch for your wedding guests? The Trading Post offers a selection of bakery items and/or food platters. Come in to see us or call us at 306-663-5477.

Justice of the Peace - The Chamber has a few to choose from in the Waskesiu region.

Wedding party flowers – Prince Albert is the closest location for bridal flowers. Please Google “Flower Shops in Prince Albert”.

Waskesiu is home to Fresh Hair Salon and Spa for those very special wedding day hair and make-up needs for your bridal party.

Liquor Store – the Waskesiu Liquor Store is right here in Waskesiu to help you order refreshments for your event. Liquor permits must be purchased
on-line through the Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority at: https://www.slga.com

Planning an outdoor wedding ceremony? A special permit is required from Parks Canada for weddings held on the beach or in the park area.
Call 306-663-4522 and ask for Paulette.

Canopy rentals can be arranged through the Waskesiu Chamber.

All outside caterers, DJ's, photographers, wedding planners, or other businesses that will be working in the Park for a wedding need a business licence. Please call 306-663-4522 and ask for Paulette.
