7am daily; 224 golfers, medal play over 3 days.

2nd Pro Lady Golf Tournament at Elk Ridge Resort.
This yearly event features some of the top female golfers in
the province in teams of three ladies and their golf professionals.

June 20-22 Waskesiu Lake Open Tennis Tournament
Starting Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Tournament is open to all levels. Events are juniors, singles, doubles & mixed doubles.
June 28th Beaver Glen Outdoor Theatre -The Cari-blues
Come and discover the unique adaptations of the fastest mammal in the boreal forest and why many of its populations are declining. 1 hour Begins at 8pm
June 29-30 Waskesiu Artisans Show ans Sale
4 – 9pm Friday, Saturday: 10am – 8pm. Community Hall and tent on grounds, over
60 artisans and growing.
July 1st Canada Day Festivities
Pancake Breakfast: 8am – 11am Community Hall.
Parade: 12:00am to 1pm starting at Beaver Glen, through the townsite and ends Montreal Drive. Cake and flag raising ceremonies to follow in front of the Parks Canada Visitor Centre.

July 2nd Wacky Wednesdays
Meet at Friends of the Park bookstore 2:00pm A program for children(age 4-7) about the flora ad fauna in the Park. Approximately 45 minutes long. Cost $2.00. Pre-register.
July 3rd Junior Naturalists
Pre-register and meet at the Nature Centre 1:30 pm Meet the plants and animals who call this forest home. Come prepared with water, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, long-sleeved shirt and proper footwear. For children aged 5-12 accompanied by an adult. Approximately 1 hour.
July 4th Townsite Historical Walk -Coming Home: A Song of Hope.
Meet at the Nature Centre 7:30 pm Celebrate the Park's 80th Anniversary and step back in time and enjoy the old time Waskesiu of the 1930's til today. Approximately 45 minutes.

9 holes of golf followed by an evening filled with the taste and sounds of Mexico with live entertainment the Spiffs. An evening you won't want to miss!! Reservations required.

Meet at the Nature Centre with your vehicle 10:00 am. Enjoy a leisurely walk with a park interpreter and discover plants and animals that make up our northern forest. Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
