7:30pm - Coming Full Circle - Remembering Peter
History comes alive! For stories and fun meet at the “Big Rock” on Waskesiu Drive for an easy stroll.

Loons, wolves, fire, and ice... just a few players in an ancient tale with a flavour that makes sense in today's world. Beaver Glen Outdoor Theatre. 1 hour.

Liquor restriction in effect in Beaver Glen campground only throughout the weekend.
8:30 a.m. – 11: a.m. Pancake Breakfast
Join us for breakfast! Waskesiu Community Hall. $4 for adults – $3 for children under 10 years. Face painting for children. Bike decorating.
12:00 p.m. Waskesiu Parade
Come and watch the parade. Entries including businesses and personal floats, pets, bikes, clowns and costumes. Entrants assemble by Beaver Glen campground entrance @ 11:30am sharp.
After the Parade ~ Ceremonial Raising of the Flag
Join us at the Information Centre for the ceremonial flag raising, singing of Oh Canada, greeting from members of PANP and the Chamber of Commerce, cutting and distribution of the birthday cake.
2:00 p.m. Sand Creature Building Competition
Attend the book launch: He Who Flys By Night – The Story of Grey Owl by Lori Punshon at the Friends of the Park bookstore.
2:30 p.m. Sand Creature Building Competition
Meet on the main Waskesiu beach and build your sand creature! Judging at 3:30. - prizes will be awarded on basis of effort and creativity.
8:00pm - Fescue Frenzy
Join in the antics as Dr. Viktor Fescue exposes the intimate secrets of PANP's seldom seen ecosystems. Beaver Glen Outdoor Theatre. 1 hour.
All Day - Visit the shack tent located at the Waskesiu Heritage Musuem! (outside the Friends of the Park Bookstore)

Join Chach Red Sky, a Woodland Cree counsellor, as he shares his knowledge of the forest. Feel free to bring water and a lunch. Meet at the Amiskowan Trailhead. 2 hours.

Have you ever lived with the black bear, the red fox and the elk? Join our stories, games and songs as we celebrate our lives together. Beaver Glen Outdoor Theatre. 1 hour.
1:30pm – Junior Naturalists - Busy Building Beavers
Stroll to their lodge and dam to learn everything from kits to kitchens. Meet at the Post Office parking lot. Pre-register at the Nature Centre. Children aged 5-12. An adult must accompany children. 1 hour

An opportunity for children aged 4-10, to learn about native flora and fauna of the park. Cost is $2.00. Pre-registration suggested. Meet at Friends Bookstore on Waskesiu Drive.

Kids bring your parents and find out about plains bison, PANP's largest mammal. Children aged 5-12. An adult must accompany children. Pre-register and meet at the Nature Centre. 1 hour.
