TOURS BY FRIENDS OF PRINCE ALBERT NATIONAL PARK

Friends of Prince Albert National Park is a volunteer, charitable,
non-profit organization, dedicated to the stewardship of the natural and cultural resources of Prince Albert National Park. The ‘Friends’ promote public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the national park.

The following tours are available individually or in combination.

1. A guided walk of the native plant beds located near the bookstore and administrative building. These beds contain plants native to Prince Albert National Park.

2. A presentation on Grey Owl and Anahareo’s lives and their accomplishments.

3. A guided tour of Beaver Lodge, the replica of the interior of Grey Owl and Anahareo’s home, and The Grey Owl and Anahereo Gallery which housed their artifacts.

4. An opportunity to browse or purchase items in the bookstore. Items in the store include books about the plants and animals native to Prince Albert National Park, books written by and about Grey Owl and Anahareo, books about Saskatchewan, souvenirs as well as a variety of toys and learning tools.
