I love Waskesiu because you can shop play on the beach but not the part about the bears thats the only thing i hate is the bears.we can camp when ever we want to!
(in the summer). I like how i got to help with jessica's and i forrget her names play it was fun! i like fishing swimming going to the theater and hannin' out in our trailer, aslo playing lawn bolling , but the part that i hated was that we had to go to overload even thouygh there was a lot of spots left that should be worked on a lot with evertbody!so next time i hope i don't have to go to overload!im never going there again!put me in a nice spot!

just love Waskesiu, and I can't wait to be able to get there every year. ! There is something about the air that is so invigorating and it just seems so right. I have been fortunate to spend many summers in the park and its hard to pick one experience to say I have a favorite. I love the beaches and the fact the waters are so clear and sandy. There is so much for me to experience yet, and I look forward to coming every year, for this is the place I'm truly at peace.

My favorite place at Waskesui is everywhere, no matter where you may travel through the park, the trails or Pelican watching at the Narrows the surroundings wrap around you like a warm fuzzy blanket. Waskesui is one of the best places to photograph nature. The land so lush and green is a photographers dream! The beaches are like cream colored sand the best place to get a tan. This is why I love Waskesui always something to do!

Canoeing up the Kingsmere river, surrounded by sights and sounds of nature and wildlife. Pushing your canoe on the rail cart through a canopy of trees while sun rays peak through the leaves. Cut off from civilization, totally relaxing in natures beauty. Kingsmere lake stretches out before you as you round the bend in the river. Visualizing Grey Owl canoeing across the same lake years ago, makes the trip a special memory.

It would be impossible to choose any one thing about Waskesiu ,as a favourite. How would you choose between the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, the abundant nature and wildlife ,the relaxed pace of the park,or the memory making vacations? The family oriented atmosphere in
Waskesiu is unique in my travelling experience.I stayed here once in 1986,and have returned yearly;17 years in total. In fact,my wife and I were married here,in 1993,and now we bring our 3 boys, and they love it as much as we do.Our compliments,Waskesiu!

I have come all my life to this place every year and to me it is like returning to family.  It has so many things to do and see that after all these years I continue to learn more about the park.  It has something for everyone depending on where you are in life. My parents golf......as I watch over the kids on the beach. Love it.

We got hooked on Waskesiu through my sister and her family. They had been coming here for many years and always raved about "The Beach House", sunset on the lake, "Big Olaf's ice cream", the view, camping in Beaver Glen with the wildlife, and just the experience in general. She unfortunately passed away in 2005 but we will always carry on her tradition and come back to "be with her" in her favorite place.
