	This first annual Arbor Day is intended to be a fun community event for young and old. Everyone is welcome to come and plant trees ! Bring your spades & rakes. If you don't have one, come anyway - some will be supplied. Volunteers are asked to assemble at the Kitchen Shelter between the ball diamond & Community Hall

Arbor Day is part of the Community Vegetation Management Plan.

We wish to thank all of you who participated in developing this plan. Together, we will strive over the next years to foster a National Park Community with a mix of native vegetation representative of the surrounding boreal forest.

The Waskesiu Community Council is democratically elected to represent your views to Parks Canada. We assist Prince Albert National Park in establishing practices for the operation of Waskesiu. Our council operates under the terms of a Memorandum Of Understanding outlining responsibilities to you and to Parks Canada.
